Time Square, New York, 2013
People in New York live a fast-paced life, which sometimes prevents them from noticing people around them as they don´t give themselves the chance to look up and see what´s around ... Which was a a bit of a hard time , because every time I got lost in the subway or walked the opposite direction in the streets, I did'nt know how to stop at least one of them and ask them for directions.
But then I found out that most people, are willing to help out and just a smile was enough to approach them=)
Smiling is part of a universal language, no matter how different we may seem, where we come from, the traditions of our culture or the color of our skin, when we smile we seem to be closer to one another, we are able to connect with new people creating new links of friendship and trust.
